Indraprastha Halls was established in 1989 to provide Pune?s increasingly discerning population with a quality venue for weddings, receptions and other special occasions. The Halls comprise of an Upper Unit with a capacity for 500 people and a Lower Unit with a capacity for 1,500 people, making Indraprastha an ideal choice for any sized function.

Indraprastha?s popularity has steadily grown and today we host around 250 functions every year. We are proud to be considered as one of the premiere wedding and reception halls in Pune.

Prime Location:
Located on Senapati Bapat Road, opposite the famous Chattushringi Temple, Indraprastha Halls enjoys a prime location in Pune. Easy access and plenty of parking makes Indraprastha a convenient venue for people coming from all parts of Pune and beyond.

Turnkey management:
We provide full turnkey management services, from catering and decorations to video and still photography. Just bring the bride and groom and let us manage the entire event on your behalf, while you enjoy that very special moment in your life.

Catering:
We provide full multi-cuisine catering whether your taste is for Chinese, Punjabi, Maharashtrian, Bengali, North Indian or South Indian food. We also provide all dishes and utensils and have catering capacity for up to 2,000 people.

Policies of Indraprastha Wedding Hall (Upper Unit)

Once a hall has been booked and paid for, it cannot be cancelled.

Possession and Return:

Possession of the hall will be given at 8.00 p.m. on the day before the function and will be taken back at 6.30 p.m. on the day of the function.

Booking and Payment:

Full payment for the rent of a hall is required at the time of booking. A booking is not considered as confirmed unless payment in full has been made. A hall that has been booked but has not yet been paid for, may be given away to another party if the other party makes payment prior to the person holding the booking.

General

You may not use the services of Indraprastha Halls staff for loading and unloading of goods and material to be used in a function.

You may not remove any property that belongs to Indraprastha Halls from the premises.

No musical instruments or loud speakers will be allowed after 10.30 p.m. or any other such time as applicable by law.

Electric appliances and electrical fixtures and fittings may not be moved or tampered with. Any damages arising out of such acts will be added to the bill at the sole discretion of the management.

Any damage to walls, windows, furniture, fixtures and fittings will be added to the bill at the sole discretion of the management.

Every marriage arranged in the hall must be duly registered as per the rules laid down by law. This is the responsibility of the persons booking the hall and a copy of the marriage licence must be given to the manager prior to the date of the function.

If more than 30 beds are required for guests who are staying overnight, extra beds will be provided at a rate of Rs. 40/- each. We should be informed of the quantity of additional beds required at least 8 days in advance.

Hot water for bathing is provided between 6 a.m. and 8.30 a.m. Please do not tamper with the hot water geyser and boiler switches.

No outside food and drinks or catering are allowed in the hall. All food and beverage arrangements should be made through our caterer. Non vegetarian food is not permitted in the halls. Any bills paid by cash must be settled with the concerned manager and an official receipt duly obtained.

The manager must be consulted in advance for any lighting decorations required on the outside walls of the hall.

Safety and Security

While we exercise great care in making the halls safe, it is impossible for hall staff to be aware of who is a genuine guest at a function and who isn’t. All your belongings, valuables and cash should be safely locked in the lockers provided. Management is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from theft or misplacement of cash and valuables.

You are responsible for providing room locks for the private rooms made available to you during a function and for ensuring that the room is safely locked when unoccupied.

Dispute Resolution

We will always try and settle all disputes amicably and fairly. In the unlikely event that we are unable to do so, all dispute resolutions will fall under the jurisdiction of the Pune Court.

Amenities of Indraprastha Wedding Hall (Upper Unit)

In addition to the services described in other parts of this website, we would be pleased to arrange the following services on your behalf. Preparations for “Simant Pujan” and Marriage “Simant Pujan”- Floweral dress for bride and bridegroom, 25 Gajaras, Jaggery for oatty, dry coconut, sugar cubes, scents, roses, pre-requisites for cleaning the feet of “Vahini” Marriage – Ganesh photo, Gourihar, Ghana material, floweral dress for bride and bridegroom, 50 Gajaras etc. A Guruji will be made available at extra charge. Total cost for preparations for Simant Pujan and Marriage: Rs. 6,550/-. Digital Photography and Video Shooting Wedding only: Rs. 6,000/- Wedding and Reception: Rs. 7,500/- Reception only: Rs. 4,000/- Note: In the case of colour photographs, we charge for a minimum of 150 photos. Colour photographs are charged at Rs. 30/- per copy (4” x 6”). Silver Dishes and Utensils We can provide polished silver dishes and utensils sets in the halls. Each set consists of 10 plates, 10 vessels, 20 bowls and 10 spoons, and is charged at Rs. 1,500/- per set. These items will be inspected, counted and signed for at the time of handing over. You will be required to compensate us for any loss or damage. Mehndi We provide Mehndi, make up and hairstyling for bride and bridegroom at a cost of Rs. 1,000/-. If you prefer, you may make your own arrangements for these services. Shamiana and Mandap We provide a Shamiana for Rs. 3,000/- and a Mandap during the monsoon season for Rs. 5,000/-
